Spring After-School Programs


*Wild Imagination Group for Elementary Schoolers*
This group is all about fun and discovery of the wonder of words. Sessions include action packed word-play, oral and written storytelling, exploration of poetry, engaging crafts, and games.  Meets Thursdays from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. beginning April 7th. *Classes meet once a week for 8 weeks. Tuition is $95 per student.*


IMG_1821*Workshop Wednesdays for Middle Schoolers*

In this group, we’ll explore a variety of writing styles and genres: poetry, fantasy, mystery, sci-fi and more! Participants will hone their narrative skills and create original works to be compiled in a group anthology.  Meets Wednesdays from 4 p.m to 5:30 p.m. beginning April 6th. *Classes meet once a week for 8 weeks. Tuition is $95 per student.*



*Edison Tale Spinners Group*                                                                                                                           This group is for Edison Elementary School 4th and 5th graders. We will be listening to and experimenting with different styles of storytelling, playing word games, and venturing into choose-your-own-adventure writing. Group meets Tuesdays, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 pm, beginning April 5th in the Barn classroom at Edison.*Classes meet once a week for 8 weeks. Tuition is $95 per student.*

Do you know a young creative writer who would like to get one-on-one instruction on writing craft?  The Salmon House Writers Workshop offers individual creative or academic writing tutoring for budding writers of any age. Sessions are specifically designed to meet the needs of the student in an encouraging environment.
